Biography

Before joining Abertay as a lecturer I worked as a software engineer, performing systems and software testing, programming and providing systems support - which also involved travelling abroad to diagnose and resolve clients’ software issues.

I was also involved in developing software for devices such as touchscreens and printers.

I hold a BSc in Computer Science, an MSc in Advanced Networking and an MSc in Ethical Hacking and Cyber Security.

I’ve been lecturing in cyber security and networking since 2009.  Before joining the teaching staff at Abertay, I lectured at Napier University.

My research interests include network security, Big Data, digital forensics and virtualisation security.
